So, I’ve been doing lots of high intensity, short duration cardio to work on speed. Unfortunately the other day I felt a pain in my Achilles tendon. Well, I googled it and the symptoms point to Achilles tendinitis. It is commonly brought on from speed training or hill running. Joy. I don’t have much luck with connective tissues. If you read the blog a couple months ago about my wrist you would know that I had tendinitis in my left wrist as well. But back to my ankle…it hurts to walk on it and push off on it. I’m going to ice it tomorrow for most of the day and try to stay off of it so I can be good to go for the big practice on Sunday.
